Hi everyone. I just discovered and joined this small forum. I may contribute in the future. But the reason for this post is because the site galbadia hotel and its forum maybe shut down if it does not get enough donation funds to keep it alive. The reason being the manager of the site was recently a victim of internet bank account identity theft and lost lots of money. If anyone here can help, thank you very much.

I recently made a donation to that site. I hope it can continue, as I have enjoyed a lot of music from their files.

We should try to let them at ffshrine forum about this website. So that way when the worst happens, everyone download threads can put up right here.

LeXoN is right. Galbadia Hotel is one of the worst places to get VGM from. Never download stuff from there!

i always trusted that place i got tombi ost from thier and final fight street wise along with jumping flash too

Trust me Galbadia Hotel is contaminated with viruses. If you although download something there it's your blame.

By the way: Some viruses there can braise your computer well bad --> you have to buy a new one!

By the way, GH is up except...its existence is meaningless. Another a$$hole decided to delete all the music files there. It was bad enough that KHInsider's game and anime music downloads were removed. Now I have to try and find torrents to whatever it is I want music from.

Ach, such a pity KHInsider had to go down... many of my early OSTs were gotten from there.

The question is...why all of a sudden? These sites have been up for years and apparently someone decided to take legal action (as if we can't get these music files from elsewhere e.g. limewire ) but I guess this is because KHInsider and GH were so publicly exposed and made obvious.

But if you're looking for very specific game tracks it will be hard to find on limewire, a game torrent will usually have the entire track of the game you're interested in. If it's a popular song (even if it's in a game) it's an easy find on limewire. Heard a lot didn't have good experiences with limewire (viruses, etc.) but it's never been a problem for me.

Meh, I tried LimeWire a few times and didn't get what I was looking for. I have better luck with the fantastic people on this site.

Great..... another good OST site gone. -sigh- It's hard to find sites with video game OST's nowadays. And I downloaded a lot of music from Galbadia Hotel. Can't they do a big virus scan oneverything, sure they might be down for a while, but they wont have any viruses, or is that to much to ask?

That's odd, I've been on GH a million times in the past and never ever got a single virus or a bad file. Recently though, I went there and Firefox warned me the site was loaded with malware and such so now I stay away from it. It's too bad though, it's one of the best, if not the best site to get OSTs, but I still know a few more so no biggie, and there hasn't been an update in quite some time there either. BTW, it looks like sound-test.org might reopen soon, I really hope this site gets back online too.

Wait, are you the same OrangeC that ripped Battlefield 2 : Modern Combat? I was never able to thank you for that. I made a thread here with the gamerip, and lots of people are thankful.
